Diorama Pitch fest 2021 shortlists 15 international film projects

In a unique initiative to support feature film production, the Diorama Pitchfest has selected 15 international film projects this year for mentoring and pitching. The filmmakers are mostly from India twelve of these are from India, two from the United States of America, and one from Argentina.


The initiative, the first of its kind in India mentors the filmmakers at its Diorama Film Lab and then allows them to pitch to an audience of Film Producers through a 15-minute Presentation during the Diorama film Bazaar. The Diorama Pitchfest has mentored and supported the film making activity in India for the past two years.


The third edition of the Pitchfest brings together vastly experienced Film Producers, Screen Writers, Directors, fud Managers, Studio Heads, Film Festival Directors, and Founders to share their experiences with the Pitchfest participants. Prominent among these are Ananth Mahadevan, Director-Writer-Actor, Elliot Grove, Producer and Founder, Raindance Film Festival, London and Raindance Film School, London and Dubai, Turkish Film Producer-Director, Stare Yildirim, Georgian Studio Owner, Irakli Chikvaidze, Hollywood Screen Writer, Brian Herskowitz, Ukrainian Film Producer, Larysa Gutarevych, Indian Film Producer, Sanjay Gulati and Ae Danish Screenplay Writing Consultant, Per Nielsen.


The participating filmmakers shall pitch their film projects for part funding, gap funding, and postproduction support at the Pitchfest between 18-20 December 2021 to a group of Indian and international Film Producers.


At the conclusion of the pitching sessions, a Diorama Jury comprising of the Mentors shall award a Prize to the Most promising Film Project.
